After lengthy preparations, the T-MAPPP workshop finally took place at the Hotel Andor Plaza in Hannover. In the morning, we had two excellent plenary lectures from Dr Martin Murtagh (Corning) and Prof. Wolfgang Peukert (Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen), followed by an overview of T-MAPPP by Prof. Ooi and Prof. Luding (University of Twente). After lunch, there was a poster session by the T-MAPPP researchers. Then we divided up for two discussion sessions at which four topics of interest to the particle simulation community were discussed. These lively discussions were enjoyed by all.
