Three members of the Group were in attendance at the 8th World congress on Particle Technology (WCPT8) which was held in Orlando, florida form 22-26 April. Over 600 participants were in attendenc for this 8th iteration of the series.

PARTICLES 2017 followed immediately after the T-MAPPP workshop in Hannover. The conference was attended by around 350 participants from 36 different countries.
After lengthy preparations, the T-MAPPP workshop finally took place at the Hotel Andor Plaza in Hannover. In the morning, we had two excellent plenary lectures from Dr Martin Murtagh (Corning) and Prof.
Preparations are now being finalised for the T-MAPPP workshop. This will be held in conjunction with the 5th International Conference on Particle-Based Methods (PARTICLES 2017), in Hannover, Germany.
